E-book task~

We have to create a E-Book individually or by working with your pair. I decided to work on my own since it's easier for me to do so. I decided to do the topics about places we usually see and go.
I think the topic is not that complicated and students are familiar with it. Hoping I will finish my E-book on time without any diffiiculty.

We were also given a task which requires us to download the video 'Earth Song' by Michael Jackson in Youtube. This task are to be done in pair. I'm working with Ainaa for this task. Based on the video, we need to create teaching aids for a lesson. We also need to download another video chosen by us and we need to do the same for the second video. Hope everything will go smoothly. God bless!

So you think you can dance...

We were assigned to do a new task in a group. We were required to download the video 'So you can think you can dance' in Youtube. Our task was to download the 5th episode. Then, we needed to combine all the parts of the videos so that it'll become one video. Besides that, we needed to cut whatever is unnecessary from the video. The episode was not about dancing at all but it was about the story of the dancers. So the cutting part was a bit confusing. But as a group, we managed to do it. Everything went smoothly except for the uploading part. It was very difficult to upload it in Adec because we were told to do so. Then thanks to Izyan's information, we were later informed that we needed to burn the files in a CD. So, that's actually helps us a lot to finish up the task.

Video editing

In video editing assignment, we were required to do two tasks which is group and pair work. We were having problem when doing the group assignment. We have to download the show entitled 'So you think you can dance' in the 8TV website. At first we were having problem downloading the video. When we tried to download, it failed. After trying several times, we managed to download the video. The task required us to cut the parts of video which is not necessary. We used Windows Movie Maker to edit the video. After doing the editing, we had problem in uploading the video to Adec. The video size is too big to be uploaded in Adec. Then we were told that we can burn the files to dvd and hand it in to Izyan. So thanks to Izyan for handing in our assignment. She really faced lots of problem regarding the task. So all her efforts are really appreciated. Thanks to Ziman, our group member for burning the files into the DVD. I really thanks all my group members for all the difficulty we faced when doing the task.
As for pair work, we did face some problems since at that time we were having our holidays. So, basically everyone already bought the ticket back to our hometown including me. Luckily, both of us have internet connection at our house, so we managed to the do the work online.
After discussing here and there, we managed to come out with a video entitled 'Sharing is Caring'.
I did learn a lot when doing this task. It is not easy to do video editing. It needs patience in order to finish the video. So, somehow it gives benefit to me. =)

Audio editing

We were given this assignment to test our skills on audio editing. At first I did not see the rationale on why we have to do the task. But then, I think it is necessary for us to know about editing the audio since we are a future teacher. We need to know the skills of adapting and modifying resources. If we chose audio as our teaching resources, some parts are not necessary to be presented in class, so we have to edit it. This is when the skill becomes useful to us.
In order to do the task, I decided to use Nero Audio Wave Editor to edit the song. I just did a simple editing which is cutting some parts of the audio. I use the song 'Breaking Ice by Britney Spears'. I cut the part I like the most and saved the file in MP3 format.
After I have done the task, I feel like it's not a waste for us to know the skills of editing since it's gonna be use later on in our future.

Photo editing

We were assigned to do this task..at first, i thought it was difficult to edit picture but then after I explored the software I want to use, I found it not that difficult to edit a picture. I decided to use Turbophoto and Photoscape software to edit the picture since it's quite user friendly.
So after exploring the softwares, I managed to edit my picture based on requirements.
Somehow, from this I learned on how to edit a picture and it's really gave benefit to me..

First task?

In group, we have to gather materials based on the topic Culture and Tradition. We did the work by metting up with each other as well as sms-ing each other to know the progress of the work. After discussing, we decided to devide the works among ourselves to save time. My task was to do the summary and reflection of the materials gathered. I did the task with Bhavarita. We actually have to describe on how to use the materials in the classroom as well as to summarize on the website we chose to visit in order to collect the materials. Hoping here everything will go smoothly.

Hmm...What to say?Actually I don't know what to write..I'm new to this blogging world..Not into blogging that much...But,you have have to do what you have to do..
First of all,I think this course quite interesting because I have the opportunity to learn about technology..I may know about basic steps to the technology world but I still need to learn more..So, I think this course can help me to do so..
Nowadays, everything requires technology..You need technology like internet to get urself updated with the current news or else you will be left behind...Like it or not, it's something you have to deal with in this age of science and technology..If you are an IT illiterate, you have no choice but to learn about the technology..
It is a benefit to know and learn about it since everything goes through the cyber world...
